Data Restoration Elite uses specialized techniques and tools to unlock and find data that exists on media that may be hidden or may not be directly retrievable with daily methods. We routinely restore data collected forensically. Our experts extract client specified data from archived media and legacy systems at affordable rates. Original data is frozen but remains available should broader searches and additional production be required. Data Preparation and Reduction Elite uses industrial standard procedures to ensure that our client’s data is treated in ways that preserve all available metadata and starts the electronic discovery process in a legally defensible manner. Each file is identified by a unique MD5 or SHA-1 hash value and given a production name. The hash value is used throughout the process to provide an intelligent and defensible chain-of-custody. Quality Control At Elite, we make quality control a fundamental part of our production. Our quality control experts check all pages of converted files to identify formatting errors, look for hidden data, search for truncated text, and remove auto dated or blank pages. Our engineers check load files to ensure we are providing the deliverable according to client specifications. Images are checked for quality and accuracy. All final data is quality checked before delivery to our clients. Flexibility Elite offers flexible output when delivering electronically stored information (ESI). Production sets can be produced for review in the file’s native format or converted to any industry standard format such as TIFF, JPEG, HTML, or a combination thereof. In addition, the extraction of all documents is indexed to provide ease of searching. We also convert files and provide links to native files in the database. Deliverables Elite provides deliverables suitable for review in any standard litigation platform. Exception reports are provided for all projects in the final deliverables, even if the reports indicates there were no exeptions. Our experts provide all media to our clients based on the specification of the project.
